She is an Associate Partner at Compass and a key member of the nationally ranked Pence Hathorn Silver team, a name that is synonymous with Santa Monica real estate. While born in South Africa, Shann grew up on the sparkling Malibu coast. She offers an intimate knowledge of L.A.’s varied micro-markets and, with ten years of real estate practice, has an accomplished acumen in brokering transactions and negotiating for buyers and sellers.
With both her mother and brother as mentors, Shann joined the Pence Hathorn Silver team in 2010. With real estate being a part of her upbringing, she was always well-acquainted with the practice and believes she was destined to share the same passion and success as her family. To succeed in today’s market, Shann finds it crucial to be conversant in modern technology and appreciates the cutting-edge approach to home selling Compass offers. She strives to go above and beyond for every client to ensure a lasting relationship, a facet of her career in which she places the utmost value.
When not representing her clients, Shann can be found around Santa Monica spending time with her son and enjoys traveling, yoga, tennis, skiing and scuba diving. Involved with various Santa Monica school fundraisers, in addition to Compass charitable partners, she is a key player in various local causes.
